Welcome to the website of
TRIGGER PRESS INTERNATIONAL
we publish
"stories of the gun"

We are a small publisher serving a unique niche.
The following, an adaptation of the author's comments in B-ZONE, explains exactly what we're about.

We publish novels set in the world of the gun. The people who make up that world are those men and women who are the serious students of the gun.  These are the people who are hunters, collectors, competitive shooters, dealers, gunsmiths and some who wear a uniform.  It is for them we publish.

Choosing to study the gun and live in its world means a person abandons the lies, myths and misconceptions about firearms that exist among the uninformed. It means they embark on a search.  It may be a person’s search for the skills that will aid in survival, a  collector’s search for historical knowledge, a competitive shooters search for his limits or a hunter’s search for a means of testing himself.

Professional or hobbyist, to those that live in the world of the gun, it is a safe and familiar place where one can be assured of encountering other people who share strongly held values of freedom, trust, responsibility  and honor.  There are people there who share the dream that everyone would embrace those values, but who also share the fear that they are slowly being eroded.

To those not familiar with the world of the gun,  it often appears to be a frightening place and the people in it dangerous. That is as understandable as it is incorrect since their perception is inevitably based on television and the movies which, as we all know, exist to create illusions.  Of course, works of fiction, are also an effort at illusion, but it is our hope that those aspects of the world of the gun that we portray are done accurately and that it reflects well on the men and women who inhabit it.
